BEND – Highway managers at the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) want to know what highway users, community members, and others have to say about proposed improvements where US20 travels through Tumalo.

It is challenging for vehicles to safely make turns at the intersection of OB Riley and Cook Avenue. In addition, the stretch of Cook Avenue/Cline Fall Avenue east of US 20 is one of the highest volume roads in Deschutes County, providing primary access to popular destinations such as Eagle Crest Resort. ODOT is working with the Tumalo community to address these issues. The Tumalo Open House is a chance for people who know the road to express their concerns and learn about potential solutions.

What: US20/Tumalo Open House

When: Tuesday, January 29, 6:30PM to 8:00PM

Where: Tumalo Community School, 19836 2nd Street (in the gymnasium)
