Committee will finalize rule for program's freight elements

SALEM - The Connect Oregon Rules Advisory Committee will meet at noon, Jan. 7 in Room 115 at the Chemeketa Center for Business and Industry, 626 High St. SE, in Salem. Agenda items include finalizing the draft rule and identifying potential implementation challenges. This is the fifth and final Rules Advisory Committee meeting for the freight elements (aviation, marine and rail) of the Connect Oregon program.

The committee is charged with updating rules for the program in light of the legislative changes approved in Keep Oregon Moving (HB 2017), the transportation funding package approved last year. The meeting is open to the public and accessible parking is available at the center.
