Washing of the walls of the Vista Ridge Tunnel will slow traffic Friday night on US 26

ODOT washes the tunnel walls twice a year, all work expected to be done by 5 am Saturday

PORTLAND -- Motorists should expect delays in both directions in the Vista Ridge Tunnel on U.S. 26 late Friday and early Saturday as ODOT crews wash the tunnel walls.

The Southwest Clay Street on-ramp will remain closed throughout the work.

The cleaning will get under way at 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 with traffic restricted to one lane while the work is under way. All lanes should be open and the job completed by 5 a.m. Saturday.
