ODOT Trucking Advisory: Intermittent night closures will affect I-5, I-405 ramp
Oregon Department of Transportation sent this bulletin at 12/09/2011 02:46 PM PSTPORTLAND: Starting Dec.14, Interstate 5 just south of the Ross Island Bridge will close intermittently at night during work on the Gibbs Street pedestrian bridge project.
I-5 will be closed as needed between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. These intermittent closures will include the ramp from I-405 southbound to I-5 southbound. The estimated completion date for this work is Dec. 22.
The authorized detour routes are:
- When I-5 is closed, take Exit 299-A to Oregon 43 and re-enter I-5.
- When the I-405 ramp to I-5 southbound is closed, take I-405 southbound to I-5 northbound, take Exit 302-A (Broadway/Rose Quarter), reverse directions and re-enter I-5 southbound.
