I-5/I-84 interchange ramp work to continue this fall
Thank you, travelers, for your understanding and patience as we work through the #BanfieldBackup and #BigFixPDX! While
the bulk of the construction closures are behind us, crews will continue to
work on the I-5/I-84 interchange in the coming weeks with periodic traffic
disruptions.

Upcoming I-5/I-84 Interchange Ramp Closures
The schedule of nighttime and weekend ramp closures for the
rest of September and October is listed below. Nighttime closures are from 10pm
to 5am. All on-ramps and off-ramps
on I-84 between I-205 and I-5 will remain open.
Through the morning
of Sept. 14, continuing nighttime closures: The ramp from I-5 northbound to
I-84 eastbound will be closed.
Sept. 14 through Sept.
15, 10pm to noon: The ramp from I-84 westbound to I-5 northbound will be
closed. The ramp will reopen Saturday Sept. 15 for The Race for the Cure.
Sept. 20 - Oct. 15,
nighttime and weekend closures: The ramp from I-5 southbound to I-84
eastbound will be closed. The ramp will open Saturday Oct. 6 through 7 for
Portlandathon.
The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
