Isthmus Slough Bridge closure postponed one week

COOS BAY – This weekend’s scheduled closure of the Isthmus Slough Bridge will be postponed one week due to weather.

Prime contractor Hamilton Construction will need dry weather for the next bridge closure so they can paint part of the drawbridge. The current forecast calls for rain this weekend.

The closure has been rescheduled to begin at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 15, and continue until 6 a.m. on Monday, June 18, weather permitting.

ODOT will provide a reminder to the Coos Bay community early next week with more information about the closure and the detour route.
