Redmond DMV office moving to new location in late July
Office will be closed July 20-21 for move
The Redmond DMV will close for two days in late July to move to a new temporary location.
DMV is leaving its current location, 1649 SW Odem Medo Road, after it closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 19. Service will be restored on Monday, July 24, at a temporary location, 424 NW Fifth St. No DMV services will be offered in Redmond on Thursday and Friday, July 20 and 21. The Redmond DMV will operate from the temporary location until a new permanent office is ready.
Office hours will remain the same – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday except Wednesdays, when the office opens at 9 a.m.
If you need to visit a DMV in person during the Redmond office closure, the nearest DMV is Bend. Before you go, check the wait time for the Bend office at OregonDMV.com.
Any time you need to visit a DMV office, first check OregonDMV.com to find office hours and locations, and to make sure you have everything you need before your visit. You also can do some DMV business from home at OregonDMV.com. You can renew your vehicle registration, file a change of address or file notice of the sale of your vehicle online without getting in line at an office.
