Central Oregon Road Construction UPDATE: Week of June 5, 2017

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is continuing to invest in Oregon’s future with roadway improvement projects throughout Oregon’s central region (ODOT Region 4). ODOT is committed to providing a safe, efficient transportation system. The following projects reflect ODOT’s commitment to make improvements as traffic numbers rise and to make the roadways safer and more efficient for drivers. All work is dependent on weather conditions. Red denotes new or updated information.

DESCHUTES COUNTY

US97 @ Wickiup Jct. (La Pine)

Contractor is working on embackment around the bridge.

US20 @ Barclay (Sister) Project

The contractor will be installing illumination poles, signs, and misc. items at night. For Night

work expect up to a 20 minute delay.

 

JEFFERSON COUNTY

 

US26: Gumwood Lane - Earl Street Sec.

The contractor will be on site Wednesday and Thursday night in stalling rumble strips

and recessed pavement markers.

 

 

KLAMATH COUNTY

 

US97: UPRR O’xing – Military Crossing &

OR58: Crescent Lake Hwy – The Dalles-California Highway

 

Paving on Highway 58 and rumble strip installation on Highway 97. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and pilot car, expect 20 minute delays.

 

 

OR140: Green Springs Intch – K Falls/Malin

 

Surveying, excavation and grading work. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and pilot car during night shift, expect minor delays.

 

South Central Oregon Chip Seal Project

 

Chip seal work on Highway 31 from MP 86.0 - MP 100.0. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and pilot car, expect 20 minute delays.
