Hood River DMV to close three days for remodeling
Office will be closed May 17-19
The Hood River DMV office will close May 17-19 for upgrades to counter stations, office furniture and the customer lobby to meet federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
The office will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, and reopen at 9 a.m. Monday, May 22.
The office – located at 600 E. Marina Way– is normally open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. It opened at this location in 1980.
If you need to visit a DMV office in person during the Hood River closure, The Dalles DMV – located at 3313 Bret Clodfelter Way – will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Any time you need to visit an Oregon DMV office in person, DMV suggests that you first visit OregonDMV.com to find office hours and locations, and to make sure you have everything you need before your visit. You may be able to do your DMV business from home at OregonDMV.com. You can renew your vehicle registration, file a change of address or file notice of the sale of your vehicle online without getting in line at an office.
