Hippie Chick Half Marathon Brings May 13 ramp closures

On and off ramps along U.S. 26 closed

 May 13 for Hippie Chick Half Marathon

 

HILLSBORO – Several on and off ramps leading to and from U.S. 26 in Washington County will be closed Saturday May 13 for the Hippie Chick Half Marathon.

The ramps closing will be:

  • U.S. 26 eastbound exit 59 off-ramp to Jackson School Road, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • U.S. 26 westbound exit 59 off-ramp to Jackson School Road, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • U.S. 26 eastbound exit 62 off-ramp top Cornelius Pass Road, 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Detours

  • When the U.S. 26 eastbound exit 59 off-ramp to Jackson School Road is closed, traffic should continue east on U.S. 26 to exit 61 to Brookwood Parkway, to Evergreen Road, to Jackson School Road.
  • When the U.S. 26 westbound exit 59 off-ramp to Jackson School Road is closed, traffic should continue west on U.S. 26 to exit 57 to Glencoe Road, to West Union Road, to Jackson School Road.
  • When the U.S. 26 eastbound exit 62 off-ramp to Cornelius Pass Road is closed, traffic should continue east on U.S. 26 to exit 64 (185th Ave), cross over and enter U.S. 26 westbound, take either exit 62B to northbound Cornelius Pass Road, or exit 62A to southbound Cornelius Pass Road.
