NB lanes of I-5 in Portland closed on two upcoming weekends

All I-5 NB lanes closed on two upcoming weekends for Burnside Bridge work
PORTLAND – Continuing repairs to the underside of the Burnside Bridge will bring a full closure of northbound Interstate 5 on two weekends in May.
The northbound lanes will be closed at milepost 301.50 on the following schedule.
- Friday May 5 at 10 p.m. until Monday May 8 at 4:30 p.m.
- Friday May 12 at 10 p.m. until Monday May 15 at 4:30 p.m.
In addition, the following ramps will be closed during the same times:
- The ramp from I-5 northbound exit 300 to eastbound Interstate 84.
- The ramp from I-5 northbound exit 302B to southbound Interstate 405.
- The ramp from I-405 southbound to I-5 northbound.
- The ramp from I-84 westbound to I-5 northbound.
- The ramp from OR43 northbound to I-5 northbound.
- The ramp from I-5 northbound exit 302A to the Moda Center.
- The ramp from I-5 northbound exit 302C to Greeley Avenue/Swan Island.
- The ramp from N Williams/N Broadway to I-5 northbound.
- The ramps from the Morrison Bridge and Morrison Street to I-5 northbound.
- The ramp from SW 5th Avenue to I-405 southbound.
Detours
- When I-5 northbound at MP 301.50 is closed, traffic will be directed to take exit 299B to I-405 northbound, to I-5.
- When the ramp from I-405 southbound to I-5 northbound is closed, traffic will be directed to use I-405 northbound to I-5.
- When the ramp from I-5 northbound exit 300 to I-84 eastbound is closed, traffic should use I-405 northbound to I-5 southbound, take exit 301 to I-84 eastbound.
- For the other ramps mentioned in this notice, signed detours will be in place for authorized vehicles only.
Motor Carriers need to provide this information to their drivers, by copy of this letter or other means to assure their awareness of the restriction.
