Expect delays, detours Dec. 10 in three eastern Oregon communities for annual Christmas parades
Trucking advisory: Dec. 10 full closures of routes in downtown Nyssa, John Day and Burns for community Christmas parades. Short sections of US26, US20 and OR201 will be closed for up to two hours during the parade activities.
US20/US26/OR201 in Nyssa: On Saturday, December 10, US20/US26/OR201 between Park Avenue and First Street in Nyssa will be closed between the hours of 6 & 6:30 p.m. Mountain Time. The closure is necessary to facilitate the annual Christmas Nite Lite Parade.
US26 in John Day: On Saturday, December 10, between 6 & 7 p.m. Pacific Time, US26 in John Day between NW 3rd Avenue and SE Dayton Street will be closed. The closure is necessary to facilitate the annual Timber Truckers Parade.
US20/US395 between Alvord Ave and “D” St in Burns: On Saturday, December 10, between 5 and 7 p.m. Pacific Time, US20/US395 between Alvord Ave and “D” St in Burns will be closed. The closure is necessary to facilitate the annual Christmas Parade.
