Width restrictions deferred for U.S. 101 bridges
PORT ORFORD — ODOT deferred two bridge repair projects on U.S. 101.
Reinhart Creek Bridge
Reinhart Creek Bridge (MP 311.40), located south of Port Orford, will have a 10-foot, six-inch width restriction from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. daily beginning Monday, Sept. 26. The restriction is needed to treat the bridge deck with an epoxy overlay. The work is estimated for completion by Sunday, Oct. 30.
Thomas Creek Bridge
Thomas Creek Bridge (MP 347.78), located north of Brookings, will have an 11-foot, six-inch width restriction from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. daily beginning Saturday, Nov. 26. The restriction is needed to treat the bridge deck with an epoxy overlay. The work is estimated for completion by Jan. 31, 2017.
Detour route information
No local detours are available. Motor carriers hauling loads need to avoid traveling through these areas during the restricted days/hours, or use authorized alternate routes.
Motor Carriers need to provide this information to their drivers, by copy of this letter or other means, to assure awareness of the restriction.
