Canyonville DMV to close for remodeling July 7-15

Office will be closed for seven business days, then reopen Monday, July 18

The DMV office in Canyonville will close for seven business days beginning July 7 for improvements to the customer lobby and other areas.
The office will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, and reopen at 9 a.m. Monday, July 18. As a reminder, all DMV offices will be closed Monday for the Fourth of July holiday.
After completion of the remodeling work, the Canyonville DMV’s business hours will remain the same: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, closing for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. each day.
The project includes repainting, flooring replacement, updated office furniture and the addition of a public restroom. This will be the first update to this office, located at 241 NE Main St., since DMV moved there 19 years ago.
During the days before and after the closure, as well as the holiday weekend, customers should expect longer wait times. During the closure, DMV recommends that customers who need to visit a DMV office in person should visit the Roseburg office. Wait times for the Roseburg DMV and most other larger DMV offices are posted online at OregonDMV.com
Before going to any DMV office, the agency suggests that you first check OregonDMV.com to make sure you have everything you need for your business at DMV. Common transactions such as renewing vehicle registration, changing your address, and reporting the sale of a vehicle can be done online.
