82nd Avenue (OR 213) is home to a diverse community of residents and businesses and is experiencing rapid change. Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is looking at the 7.5 mile stretch of 82nd Avenue between NE Killingsworth Street and SE Johnson Creek Boulevard to develop an implementation plan that will:
- Identify projects to improve safety for people walking, biking, using mobility devices, taking transit and driving on 82nd Avenue, and
- Identify projects that could be funded and built in the next 5-10 years.
Through stakeholder interviews, town halls and other outreach efforts, ODOT has heard from community members about key needs such as improved lighting, safe pedestrian and bike crossings, more comfortable transit stops and a more inviting streetscape along 82nd Avenue.
Now, ODOT needs your help to find projects they can build in the next 5-10 years to make 82nd Avenue safer.
Please take a few minutes to complete a survey to help us identify four high priority areas that the Implementation Plan will focus on for future project funding (select survey language below). The survey will be available through Sunday, May 22. A future survey will ask about improvement ideas.
