Roseburg DMV to close for remodeling Oct. 26-30

 

Office will close at 5 p.m. Oct. 23 and reopen at 8 a.m. Nov. 2

 

The Roseburg DMV Field Office will close for five business days to make improvements to the interior of the office for more efficient service to customers.
The office will close at 5 p.m. Oct. 23 and reopen at 8 a.m. Nov. 2. After completing the remodeling work, business hours will remain the same: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for Wednesdays when the office opens at 9 a.m.
The project includes new counters, updated office furniture, carpet and flooring, self-service counters and brochure racks. This will be the first major upgrade to the office in 30 years. DMV moved into the building, located at 1331 NE Cedar, in June 1985.
During the weeks before and right after the closure, customers should expect longer wait times. Wait times for the Roseburg DMV and most other larger DMV offices are posted online at OregonDMV.com. During the temporary office closure, customers who need to visit a DMV office in person can consider offices in Cottage Grove, 142 Gateway Blvd., or Canyonville, 241 NE Main St.
Before going to any DMV office, the agency suggests that you first check OregonDMV.com to make sure you have everything you need for your business at DMV. Common transactions such as renewing vehicle registration, changing your address, and reporting the sale of a vehicle can be done online.
