Highway closures, lane restrictions and ramp closures coming Aug. 9 for Bridge Pedal
On the morning of Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015, the annual Providence Portland Bridge Pedal will require the closure of highways, bridges and ramps in the Portland area.
HIGHWAY CLOSURES
The following highways in the Portland area will be closed on the morning of Aug. 9:
- Interstate 405 southbound between mileposts 4.20 and 0.77, the Fremont Bridge south to the Marquam Bridge, from 4 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- I-405 southbound between mileposts 4.20 and 3.20 between 4 a.m. noon, the Fremont Bridge.
- I-5 northbound between mileposts 300.26 and 300.36 between 4 AM and 11 a.m., the Marquam Bridge.

S. 26 westbound between mileposts 0.94 and 0.59 between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m., the Ross Island Bridge.
RAMP CLOSURES
The following ramps in the Portland area will be closed the morning of Aug. 9:
- The ramp from U.S.26 eastbound to I-405 southbound, between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- The ramp from U.S. 30 eastbound to I-405 southbound, between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- The ramp from Northwest Couch Street and 16th Avenue to I-405 southbound, between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- The ramp from Southwest Taylor Street and 13th Avenue to I-405 southbound, between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- The ramp from Southwest Montgomery Street and 13th Avenue to I-405 southbound, between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- The ramp from Southwest 5th Avenue to I-405 southbound, between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- The ramps from I-5 northbound and southbound to I-405 southbound, between 4 a.m. and noon.
- The ramp from North Cook Street and Kerby Avenue to I-405 southbound, between 4 a.m. and noon.
- The ramp from I-5 northbound, exit 302C, to North Greeley Street between 4 a.m. and noon.
- The ramp from U.S. 26 eastbound, the Ross Island Bridge, to OR 99E southbound between 4 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
- The ramp from U.S. 30 Bypass westbound, the St. Johns Bridge, to U.S. 30 eastbound between 7:30 a.m. and noon. The ramp (connector road) being closed is Northwest Bridge Avenue between the St. Johns Bridge southbound to U.S. 30 eastbound.
- The ramp from I-405 southbound to U.S. 30 westbound, between 4 a.m. and noon.
- The ramp from northbound OR 99E/Woodward Street to Ross Island Bridge westbound, between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The ramp from OR 43 northbound, Macadam Avenue, to I-5 northbound, between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m.
WIDTH RESTRICTIONS
The following highway in the Portland area will be restricted to loads no wider than 8 feet. 6 inches, the legal width, Aug. 9 between 7:30 a.m. and noon.

U.S. 30 Bypass, the St. Johns Bridge, eastbound and westbound.
EXPECTED DELAY AND CONGESTION
The following state highways in the Portland area are also part of the bicycle route, however will remain open during the event. Motorists should expect additional delay and/or congestion:
- OR 43 northbound, Southwest Macadam Avenue, from the Sellwood Bridge to Kelley Avenue.
- OR 99E southbound, Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard, from Ivon Street to Milwaukie Avenue.

S. 30 eastbound from Northwest Kittridge Street to Bridge Avenue.
Detour Route Information:
No local detours are available. Motor carriers will need to avoid traveling through these areas during the restricted times, be prepared for significant congestion and delay, or use authorized alternate routes.

Motor Carriers need to provide this information to their drivers, by copy of this letter or other means, to assure their awareness of the restriction.
