ODOT announces new District 5 Manager

New ODOT District Manager in Lane County

SPRINGFIELD—ODOT has selected a new manager for maintenance operations in Lane County.

 

Miki “Mick” Hont, a registered professional engineer with lengthy experience in transportation, joins the agency as District 5 Manager.

 

Hont comes to ODOT from the Arizona Department of Transportation where he served as Assistant District Engineer - Engineering Manager of Operations; Assistant District Engineer - Engineering Manager of Construction; and Project Manager for design and Resident Engineer for construction.  Prior to his public sector career, Hont spent 5 years working for a heavy civil construction company.

 

Hont will manage the 76 employees and the $8.5 million annual maintenance budget of District 5.

 

Hont replaces David Warren, who becomes the new District 4 manager in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and Polk counties.
