Expect Delays/Closures on ODOT highways

July 22-July 24

BEND – On Wednesday July 22 (10AM-3PM): Cyclists will be on US 26 from Madras to Prineville, then onto OR 126 to the Millican Highway. They return to OR 126 at the Powell Butte Highway and stay on OR 126 to Redmond. They return to OR 126 from George Cyrus Road to Camp Polk Road, then cross US 20 in Sisters at Barclay St. to go west on OR 242 and finish at Dee Wright Observatory. There will be “rolling closures” during the race, so traffic should expect delays. The conclusion of the race is estimated to be 3:00 PM.

Thursday July 23 (9AM-2PM): Time Trial on OR 27 from MP 1.9 to MP 7.5. The highway will be closed to traffic (however local traffic access will be allowed). There will be a signed detour in place during this time (traffic can take Millican Highway to access Prineville Reservoir and the upper Crooked River Highway).

Friday July 24 (10AM-3PM): Road Race on Hwy 372 (Century Drive). This race starts in Bend at 10:00 AM and be on Century Drive to the end of ODOT section(at Mt. Bachelor) at about 12:00 PM. They will return to Hwy 372 for the finish in the afternoon and end at Mt Bachelor West Village at about 3:00 PM.   The highway will have “rolling closures” in place during this time, so traffic should expect delays.
