Ramp paving at the OR 34/OR 99E interchange in Tangent

Two nights of ramp paving to redirect traffic at OR 99E/OR 34 interchange

 

TANGENT— An ODOT project to repave four ramps of the OR 34/OR 99E interchange in Tangent, will result in nighttime detours for travelers.

On June 1 and June 2, 2015, weather permitting, paving will take place between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Two ramps will be paved each night.

On June 1, the eastbound and westbound off-ramps from OR 34 to OR 99E will be paved. This will result in lane closures on OR 34 and OR 99E. The detours will be:

WB 34 to 99E

  • Continue west past the interchange
  • Then turn north on Looney Lane
  • Then turn east on Old Hwy. 34 to 99E

 

EB 34 to OR 99E

  • Continue east past the interchange
  • Then turn north on Columbus
  • Then turn west on Old Hwy. 34 to OR 99E

 

On June 2, the eastbound and westbound on-ramps from 99E to OR 34 will be closed. This will result in lane closures on OR 34 and OR 99E. The detours will be:

 

OR 99E to EB OR 34

  • From OR 99E, turn east on Old Hwy. 34
  • Then turn south on Columbus
  • Then turn east on OR 34 under flagger control

OR 99E to WB 34

  • From OR 99E, turn west on Old Hwy. 34
  • Then turn south on Looney Lane
  • Then turn west on OR 34

 

ODOT encourages travelers to use extreme caution and follow the flagger’s direction when making left turns at the OR 34/Columbus intersection.
