Middle Housing Oregon Homes Division 46 Rules adopted
The proposed draft rules for Oregon Administrative Rules chapter 660, Division 46 - Middle Housing in Medium and Large Cities, have been adopted by the Land Conservation and Development Committee during their August meeting. One highlight of the changes made to the rules prior to adoption is the removal of the 900 square foot cap for individual units that are within a cottage cluster. The new definition allows cottage cluster developments to have an average floor area of up to 1,400 square feet. The adopted rules will be effective on September 14, 2026.
