The June 25-26, 2026, hybrid meeting will be held in the Department of Agriculture building Basement Hearing Room located at 635 Capitol Street NE, Salem, OR.
On Thursday June 25th, the public portion of the meeting is scheduled to start at 9:30 AM. Commissioners are expected to deliberate and take action to initiate rulemaking on the Territorial Sea Plan Parts 1 and 2 Updates and a legislatively-directed Shoreline Stabilization rulemaking. Commissioners will hold a public hearing and potentially adopt conforming rules for House Bill 4037 Urban Reserves and consider adoption of the Coastal Public Access proposed rules. Commissioners also will hold a Good Cause hearing on a Citizen Initiated Enforcement Order Petition for Deschutes County. Additionally, staff will brief the commission on Data Center Development Trends in Oregon, Middle Housing Oregon Homes Rulemaking, and Executive Order 25-29 for Clean Energy Transmission and Siting recommendations. Finally, commissioners will hear from a panel on Land Trusts in Oregon.
On Friday June 26th, the meeting will begin at 8:15 AM with updates from Director Bateman. as well as Commission Business. Staff will brief the commission on updates regarding the Housing Production Strategy Showcase and Legislative Reports from the Housing Accountability and Production Office. Finally, the commission will be asked to take action on the extension of time for Cities Using Pre-Oregon Housing Needs Analysis Rules.
