Housing Accountability and Production Office Announcement
Beginning July 1, 2025, HAPO will be able to receive and respond to official inquiries and allegations of a violation of housing law. HAPO is creating policies and procedures to describe how the office will address inquiries and allegations. These policies and procedures also include how the office will invest technical assistance resources to assist local governments.
Engagement Opportunity
HAPO is hosting an open forum to engage with local governments, Tribal nations, developers and property owners, community partners, and other interested parties on these policies and procedures. Drafts of the information to be presented will be published to HAPO’s website on May 5, 2025. We encourage interested parties to provide feedback during the open forum or by email at DLCD.HAPO@DLCD.oregon.gov.
