Oregon Energy Strategy Modeling Results
The Department of Land Conservation and Development will be hosting a number of meetings in the coming weeks related to the Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap development process. Details for the meetings are below:
January Roadmap Meeting #4 "Makeup Meeting"
In order to accommodate Roundtable members who could not attend the January 9th meeting due to the National Day of Remembrance for President Carter, DLCD will hold a 2-hour virtual meeting on February 4, 2025 from 9 to 11 a.m.. The purpose of the meeting will be to collect and discuss any additional questions or reflections based on the discussion that occurred at the January 9, 2025 meeting. It is expected that participants will have watched the January 9 meeting discussion on the DLCD Roadmap webpage ahead of time. This meeting will include an opportunity for public comment.

ODOE Energy Strategy Modeling Results Information Session (in-person and virtual)
The Oregon Department of Energy will host a hybrid in-person and virtual information session on January 31, 2025, to present modeling results of several possible scenarios for reaching Oregon’s energy objectives. This info session is an opportunity for Oregonians to learn more about the Oregon Energy Strategy effort and view results of a pathways analysis that will provide the foundation for the next step of developing the strategy. While not directly related to the Roadmap development process, the modeling results may be relevant to the discussions around the future demand for offshore wind energy in Oregon.

Working Groups
To facilitate the development of strategic recommendations for consideration within the Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap Roundtable, DLCD will be convening a series of focused Working Group discussions around specific topic areas. The draft working group charter descriptions may be found on our website.
Below is the information for the first round of Working Group meetings in January. Additional Working Group meetings will be scheduled in the coming months. These meetings will be open for the public to view.
