DLCD to Host Community Listening Sessions on 2025 Policy Option Packages
The Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) will be hosting two online community listening sessions and we hope to hear from community members and other interested parties on the agency’s Policy Option Packages (POPs), or budget proposals, for the 2025 legislative session.
Agencies, in collaboration with the Governor’s Office, provide POPs to the state legislature to request funding for agency programs and policy initiatives. More information on the budget development process can be found on DLCD's webpage for Administration and Support.
Your comments on DLCD's proposed budget proposals or suggestions for inclusion are welcome! Online community listening sessions will be held at the following times (Zoom registration is required, links are below):
- March 22, 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- April 2, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Meeting materials will be sent out in advance of the meeting dates. Staff will consider comments and suggestions and, as appropriate, use them to inform the final DLCD budget proposals presented to the Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) at their meeting scheduled for April 25, 2024. The commission will also allow time for public comment during this agenda item.
If you have questions about the 2025 Policy Option Packages, or budget proposals, please contact Alexis Hammer, Legislative and Policy Coordinator (alexis.hammer@dlcd.oregon.gov) or Aurora Dziadul, Legislative Intern (aurora.dziadul@dlcd.oregon.gov).
Feel free to share this email with professional associates or colleagues, other community members or interested parties. We appreciate your time and consideration.
