Additional Parties Invited to Serve on Rules Advisory Committee for Goal 9 Target Industries Approach Rulemaking

Application Period Open Through February 13, 2024

On January 25th, the Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) directed Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) staff to initiate rulemaking to clarify use of the "Target Industries Approach" by cities in Economic Opportunities Analyses (EOAs). The department is currently accepting applications from interested Oregonians to serve on the Rules Advisory Committee (RAC). RAC members will advise agency staff in drafting recommended rules. In addition to the previously identified interested parties, LCDC directed the department to seek representation on the RAC by a county planner, developer, environmental advocate, and a Farm Bureau or other agricultural interest.
