The Committee will receive a series of informational updates on health system transformation efforts in Oregon. Rhonda Busek, OHA, will provide an update on the Oregon Health Plan (OHP). The Washington State Health Care Authority will provide an overview on the state’s Medicaid program and its approach to mitigating churn under the new coverage landscape provided through the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Committee staff will highlight key benefit differences between OHP and qualified health plans (QHPs) available through Cover Oregon. In addition, staff will present an environmental assessment of Medicaid churn related policy options from other states.
