Subject: Invitation to VR budget planning meeting
VR partners and contracted providers are warmly invited to a virtual community meeting March 19 to help plan program priorities for the 2027-2029 budget. We are seeking your ideas on how VR can best serve people with disabilities and most effectively use our resources. We will also review guidance from the Governor’s Office.
We will also provide highlights from the 2026 short session on new laws that may affect people with disabilities.

Date: Thursday, March 19
Time: noon –1 p.m.

You will be asked to provide your name and email when you register. Zoom will send you a confirmation email with directions for how to join the meeting. Registering allows us to email attendees afterwards with the resources we share in the meeting.
What to expect:
- The meeting will be virtual only. We will show a PowerPoint slide deck on screen.
- The slide deck will be posted before the meeting on VR’s Community Engagement web page.
- All participant microphones will be muted.
- There will be an option to submit written questions.
- ASL interpretation and real-time captioning (CART) will be available.
