Medical & SNAP: 2026 Annual Social Security Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA)

Effective January 1, 2026, the Social Security Administration (SSA) will implement a 2.8% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for Social Security recipients. This includes Social Security payments under Title II of the Social Security Act (both SSB and SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) under Title XVI of the Social Security Act. In addition, the 2026 Medicare Part B premium will change to $202.90 for most Medicare recipients and the Representative Payee Fee is increasing. Please see transmittal below for additional details.
