Greetings, Employment First partners.

Oregon’s Employment First Summit is Oct. 1-2. The Office of Developmental Disabilities Services, Vocational Rehabilitation and Oregon Department of Education are partnering with the Association of People Supporting Employment First (APSE) Pacific Northwest Employment Forum to host the event.

We invite you to attend and:

Join in strategic planning for the future. This will be the main focus of the summit. Please come prepared to share your expertise on the successful strategies that advance employment for people with I/DD.
Hear about the “state of the state.” Employment First partners will share regional, state and project successes. To help you prepare, we will send more information, including templates and past plans, after you register.
Recognize champions of employment for people with disabilities.
Celebrate the passage Oregon’s Employment First legislation, Senate Bill 810.

Summit information:

Gallery walk and networking event: 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 1, 2025
Summit: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 2, 2025
