ODHS/OHA Policy Update

The following policies, processes and guidelines were approved or retracted by the ODHS and OHA Shared and Central Services Policy Committee in the first quarter of 2025. Policies are signed by Seth Lyon for ODHS and Kris Kautz for OHA. Staff are responsible for reviewing and understanding all agency policy. These updates are available on the Policy Committee Newsletters OWL page. These policies are effective May 1, 2025, unless otherwise noted.

New policies and processes

ODHS and OHA leadership approved two new policies during the first quarter of 2025. This policy on Collecting, Maintaining, and Sharing Citizenship or Immigration Status, or Country of Birth Information is required by state statute and relates to requesting information and sharing information with federal officials. All staff should be familiar with the policy and their agency’s process for managing requests from federal officials for protected information.

The second policy and its related process map provide information related to compensating individuals who participate in agency boards, commissions, committees or workgroups.
