Important Bug Fix for the Agency SD Import Process
On March 19th, an email was sent from the Info.eXPRS@odhsoha.oregon.gov email inbox to all Agency Providers that use the Service Delivered (SD) Import Process. This important email was entitled: Bug Fix for the Agency SD Import Process in the Upcoming eXPRS v2025.1 Release, and was sent to all eXPRS Users at Provider Agencies who use this process.
Agency Providers that use the SD Import Process are encouraged to review this email again and watch the v2025.1 Visual Release Notes video. These resources provide an explanation about a bug that was fixed so that Hourly SDs can no longer "cross the midnight boundary" from one day into the next (except for OR507 Daily Relief Care).
The email and video also provides information on troubleshooting error messages in the SD Import Process around this bug fix, and reminders about the need to ensure that files imported using this process meet the requirements.
If you have additional questions, please contact the eXPRS Team using the Info.eXPRS@odhsoha.oregon.gov email inbox.
Another Batch of Improvements!
Here’s a few quick highlights for what's changed in the system:
-
Service Delivered Billing Entry: The maximum limit for a Service Delivered Billing Entry for OR380 (Assistive Devices) has been increased to $1200, and completed associated system work to support this change
-
Service Delivered Billing Entry: Disabled the functionality that marked certain Service Delivered Billing Entries as MOE. This change will be effective as of 03/31/2025.
-
Service Delivered Billing Entry: The ability to Void SDs prior to the "7-quarter + the Current Quarter" timeframe has been removed from all users except specific ODDS Staff. If a provider needs to have an SD and/or Claim corrected after this timeframe, they must contact the Technical Assistance Unit, who will review the request before making any changes.
-
Reports: The View Change in Service Group Report has been adjusted so that the result set shows only Accepted, Draft, or Pending Plans of Care.
A New Modifier Code for Rural Mileage Service
The 2023-2025 Oregon Home Care Commission Collective Bargaining Agreement has introduced a new service called Rural Mileage. This service can be authorized as of April 1st, 2025.
This new service can be authorized for PSWs who meet the criteria outlined on the Excessive PSW Mileage Authorization Form, which is available on the ODDS Website > Resources for Case Management Entities.
CMEs can approve this service and create the SPA in eXPRS using the following Procedure Code and Modifier Code Combination: OR004/RU. However, it's important to note that the SPA itself will pend to ODDS for final approval. Please remember to upload the completed form to the individual's Plan of Care. This will ensure that when ODDS staff reviews the SPA, the form will be available for reference before they approve it.
