Case Actions QRG: Direction was included for the SNAP program when an application is received and appointments are scheduled beyond 30 days, workers should extend the processing time frame to align with the appointment date. If a request for information (RFI) is needed during the appointment, workers extend the processing time frame to align with the RFI due date. If the appointment is missed, workers review the extended processing time frame to confirm it is aligned with the missed appointment date and update the processing timeframe if they are not aligned.
Please note that for standard SNAP cases, appointments should be scheduled within 30 days. For expedited SNAP, appointments should be scheduled within seven days.
