Community partner meeting rescheduled to Monday, January 29, 2024, from 2-4 p.m.
Please join ODHS leadership for a community partner meeting, in-person and virtual, at our East Glisan Training Center in Portland.
Due to weather, the event planned for Jan. 18 was rescheduled for Jan. 29, 2-4 p.m.
ODHS invites partners and community members to build upon conversations begun in July at our last community partner briefing. This is an opportunity to collaborate for the future as we look to the upcoming legislative session in February, and policy and budget development for the next biennium.
We'd like to hear your thoughts to prepare for this meeting, and if you plan to attend in-person or online:
- What questions do you have for ODHS leadership that you would like us to address during this time?
- What are your organization’s or your community’s top priorities in the next year or two?
Refreshments and light snacks will be served.

Newly expanded ODHS Spanish website
Did you know Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) has a Spanish website? This external website launched when the new ODHS website was unveiled last summer. Now, we are excited to share we’ve expanded the content and resources available on our Spanish ODHS website!
People visiting the Spanish website now have access to an additional 65 transcreated pages, including many pages for VR, for a total of 110 pages. Transcreated means they are translated by a native Spanish speaker instead of Google translate, as most websites offer for language translation. People can access this Spanish website by selecting “Sitio en Español” on the right side of the ODHS banner of the website. Not all pages have been transcreated; an easy way to know if a specific page has a transcreated version is to look for an "Español" button under the header of the page.
People that speak other languages can use the "Languages" button on the upper right hand of the ODHS website to get a google translate version of our pages in 10 different languages.
People will also be able to use the Office Finder on the Spanish site now, making it easier not only to find their local offices, but also important information like specific services and messages on office closures.
These additional pages will provide people seeking services and resources, as well as our staff and partners that support them, with virtually the same level of information that is currently available on our main website. While we are excited to share these updates, we also believe in continuous quality improvement for ODHS websites as we increase accessibility and offer new resources.
We also welcome your feedback. Please use this form to provide any comments or questions. You can change the language to Spanish on the top right corner.
