Help us support home visitor wellness by sharing your experiences
Portland State University is conducting a survey to collect information about how to better support the well-being of Oregon’s home visiting workforce.
We’re reaching out to home visitors, home visiting supervisors and managers to ask you to complete this statewide survey. We want to make sure we hear from as many voices and perspectives as we can and would greatly appreciate your input!
Your participation is entirely voluntary and confidential. No one outside of Portland State University will know whether you take the survey or have access to any of the answers you provide. The survey will take about 20-30 minutes for you to complete.
As a thank you, you will receive a $50 Amazon or Target gift card for completing the survey. If you are unsure if you can accept a gift card, please talk to your supervisor. You can opt out of receiving a gift card or may need to take the survey during non-work hours.
CLICK HERE to access the survey by August 4th!
Please email: hvworkforce@pdx.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
Resources
More families will qualify for help paying for childcare as of July 1
On July 1, the new Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) expanded eligibility for affordable childcare through the Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) program. Families are now able to receive cash assistance from Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and get help paying for childcare from ERDC at the same time.
As of July 1, there are fewer reasons for childcare assistance to end within 12 months. Cases will no longer close if a family cannot find a provider within three months. ERDC benefits will continue if a caretaker loses their job or stops attending school.
