Advance Directive Advisory Committee holds education session March 23

What: The Oregon Advance Directive Advisory Committee will be holding an informational seminar regarding Oregon Advance Directive and POLST. This informational session is designed to inform the general public and answer questions on the content and use of these documents.

Agenda: Provide information on the Advance Directive and answer questions.

When: Thursday, March 23, noon to 1 p.m. This educational session is open to the public.

Where: This educational session will have an in-person and remote option:

Background: The Advance Directive Advisory Committee provides guidance to Oregon Health Authority on necessary revisions to Oregon’s Advance Directive form.

Everyone has a right to know about and use Oregon Health Authority (OHA) programs and services. OHA provides free help. Some examples of the free help OHA can provide are:

• Sign language and spoken language interpreters
• Written materials in other languages
• Braille
• Large print
• Audio and other formats
