Updates for Oregon Health Plan providers
None at this time.
Please continue to refer to the Oregon Medicaid COVID-19 Provider Guide for information related to Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and Citizenship Waived Medical (CWM) coverage of vaccine, testing, screening, treatment and telemedicine services; OHP and CWM eligibility; and other information and resources related to providing and billing for covered services during COVID-19.
OHP renewals will resume April 1. While most people will continue to qualify for existing benefits, OHA is required to review eligibility for all 1.47 million OHP members by June 2024. Members will receive a notice between April 2023 and January 2024.
OHA and the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) encourage OHP members to:
-
Keep their contact information up to date, so they can receive renewal forms and requests for information.
-
Respond quickly after they receive a request for information to avoid any possible delays with their OHP renewals.
For the fastest way to update contact information, review renewal letters or respond to requests for information, OHP members can use their Oregon Eligibility (ONE) account at ONE.Oregon.gov. To learn more about using or signing up for ONE, members can visit Benefits.Oregon.gov.
To learn more, read the full news release from OHA (2/13/2023).

The Renewals Operational Timeline includes the overall timeline, major activities, and anticipated effects the renewal process will have on the 1.4 million people receiving OHP and other benefits.

Thank you to our partners in health care for navigating the Similac formula recall and subsequent formula shortages. The time has come to unwind the formula additions made in response to the formula shortages.
Starting March 1, 2023, all alternative formulas for bid Similac products, including competitor brands, store brands and foreign formulas in all container sizes, are no longer an option for WIC participants to purchase. This timeline is determined by USDA.
