Background: OHA released the draft Bullseye Glass Public Health Assessment report at the end of June 2021; a news release announcing the report’s publication can be found here. More information about the report is available at: https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/HEALTHYENVIRONMENTS/TRACKINGASSESSMENT/ENVIRONMENTALHEALTHASSESSMENT/Pages/bgfsite.aspx.
During the April 5 community meeting, OHA will focus specifically on Bullseye Glass and OHA’s Public Health Assessment Report. There will be time to ask clarifying questions related to the draft report and for community attendees to share their perspectives.
Note that the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) plans to host a meeting in the near future to provide space to talk about more general environmental and regulatory concerns about the facility or other sources in the area. More details about DEQ’s meeting will be available at the April 5 meeting.
