Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Director Patrick Allen is recovering at home after being hospitalized earlier this week.
Director Allen’s family reports the 59-year-old Oregon native is resting comfortably at his house in Sherwood after being discharged Tuesday evening following his hospitalization Sunday morning. Director Allen said he is “looking forward to returning to work” at a date to be determined.
OHA Deputy Director Kris Kautz is overseeing agency operations during Director Allen’s absence. Allen has been OHA’s director since September 2017.
