The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) 1115 Waiver Renewal team is pleased to announce that the first draft of the 1115 Waiver Renewal application has been posted online to solicit feedback from interested parties. Background
Over the past year, OHA has been developing a shared vision from a diverse range of health care and community voices for changes to the Medicaid system – often referred to as the Oregon Health Plan (OHP). The vision for those proposals are outlined in a series of five policy concept papers, linked below.
Based on the concept papers, OHA has developed a draft waiver application which formally proposes the concepts to the federal government. OHA is seeking public comment on the draft application during the Dec. 7, 2021 to Jan. 7, 2022 period.
