- A three-minute message from Director Fariborz Pakseresht
- What to expect October 19
- By the numbers
- Business continuity reminder
Director Fariborz Pakseresht calls on all of us at ODHS to work together and focus on our core mission: serving Oregonians. Watch the three-minute video which includes a reminder that wearing an N95 mask does not indicate a person's vaccine status.
The deadline for state employees to comply with the Governors’ COVID-19 vaccine requirement is today at 11:59 p.m. Managers and supervisors of employees who did not submit vaccination verification or an exception request may be asked to gather information to assist Human Resources (HR) in determining employee status. If you're asked to gather information, please do so right away using the talking points provided. HR is available to help you through this process.

As part of standard emergency preparedness, our Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) includes forecasting potential staffing shortages in local ODHS offices.
Since Oct. 7, 2021, ODHS leadership has received a weekly staffing report to help track the number of employees working at local ODHS offices and their ability to meet our mission essential functions.
Michelle Patton leads the COOP work through the Office of Health, Safety and Emergency Services (OSHE). Patton works with COOP coordinators from each ODHS program to plan and activate strategies for closing staffing gaps so we can deliver our mission essential functions.

Resources to help you stay up to date, practice self-care and find out where you can get vaccinated and office exposure notices.
