COVID-19 Operational Cost Assistance Grant Program

Business Oregon is still accepting applications for the final portion of a program to provide grants for small businesses to help with commercial rent and operational costs in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Operation Cost Assistance Grant Program for eligible businesses include:

  • A provider of eligible personal services (barber shop, hair salon, esthetician practice, medical spa, facial spa, day spa, non-medical massage therapy service business, nail salon, tanning salon, or tattoo/piercing parlor); or
  • A provider of eligible indoor physical exercise, recreational or family entertainment (amusement park, aquarium, arcade, bowling alley, dance studio, gym or fitness studio (including climbing gym), hookah bar, indoor party place (including jumping gyms and laser tag), indoor sport facility (nonprofessional), skating rink, tennis club, theater, or yoga studio).

An online application form is posted on the website, and is open through June 6, 2021. The application process is NOT first-come, first-served. Awards will be selected after a random lottery process of all complete and eligible applications received. Applicants are encouraged to take time with the application form to make sure all information is correct. Missing or incorrect information, particularly simple contact information such as email and phone numbers delays processing significantly.
