Updates for Oregon Health Plan providers
Vaccine administration reimbursement for community health centers: The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) will reimburse all Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), including clinics participating in the Alternative Payment and Advanced Care Model program, for COVID-19 vaccine administrations at the clinic’s Medicaid Prospective Payment System (PPS) encounter rate.
OHA will also reimburse Indian Health Care Providers (IHCPs, including Indian Health Service, Tribal 638 and Urban Indian Health Program providers) at their PPS or Indian Health Service "OMB" encounter rate. To learn more:

Oregon Broadband Office Request for Information
Is your community trying to expand broadband to support telework, telehealth and distance education to unserved or underserved areas in the next two years?
- The Oregon Broadband Office is asking all Oregon communities to share information about broadband expansion projects planned for completion by June 30, 2023.
- Your responses will inform the Governor’s Office and the Oregon legislature as they consider the state's proposed 2021-2023 budget for broadband infrastructure projects.

MS-DRG, LTC-DRG and Oregon Unique DRG updates effective Oct. 1, 2020
On Feb. 21, 2021, OHA updated its claims system with Version 38 of the Medicare Severity Diagnosis Related Group (MS-DRG) grouper software and Long-Term Care DRG files, effective October 1, 2020. This requires OHA to also change the Oregon Unique DRGs effective October 1. To learn more, please read OHA's March 23 announcement.
