Subject: Podcast on Vaccines and Other Resources
The Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) recently taped a podcast with a provider and an individual in services discussing their experience receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
Becky Simpson, CEO of Pathway Enterprises based in Medford, and Peter, who receives supported living and employment services from Pathway Enterprises, talk about their personal experience receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.
Please find this podcast online. There also is an earlier podcast featuring ODDS manager Chelas Kronenberg reviewing the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
I also wanted to share some additional resources from partners such as the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) including:
- Benefits of being vaccinated one pager
- OHA Vaccine Frequently Asked Questions
- Self-advocacy vaccine information in plain language
- Disability Rights Oregon Know Your Rights resources
