Summary:
During Week 01 (January 01 through 07, 2012), OSPHL reported that 1 specimen tested positive for influenza.
No influenza-related hospitalizations have been reported during Week 01 for the Portland Tri-County metropolitan area. Three influenza-related hospitalizations have been reported so far during the 2011-2012 season.
Outpatient visits for influenza-like illness (ILI) remains below the season threshold.
