OPSC Amendment Proposal Period - Reminder

provided notice of the public code amendment proposal period for the 2017
Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code (OPSC) adoption from Aug. 1 to Sept. 14,
2016.
45-day code amendment proposal process
Interested
parties may submit code amendment proposals based upon:
1.
Current plumbing code (2014 OPSC); or
2. Any other nationally recognized base model code; or
3. Any specific proposal the applicant wants to be considered.
The
State Plumbing Board will determine which model code is most appropriate.
Use
the Code Amendment Proposal Application to
submit a proposal. The application includes a list of required criteria for
each code amendment proposal. Completed proposals may be emailed to the Code
Para-Technical Specialist: BCD.ptsptech@oregon.gov.
