Cybersecurity Awareness Month is Almost Here:
Get Ready to Stay Safe Online!
Mark your calendars: Cybersecurity Awareness Month is coming in October 2025! We’re partnering with the National Cybersecurity Alliance to help you Stay Safe Online with simple steps to protect yourself, your work, and our state’s data from cyber threats.
This year’s theme focuses on four key actions—the Core 4—to boost your online safety:
- Use strong passwords and a password manager.
- Turn on multifactor authentication.
- Recognize and report scams.
- Update your software.
Plus, we’ll wrap up with a bonus week on staying safe with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Each week, starting October 1, we’ll share practical tips, fun resources like videos and games, and opportunities to build your cyber skills through Workday training and live webinars.
