Intune for Mobile Devices Complete
The Cyber Security Services (CSS) Enterprise Mobile Security project successfully implemented Microsoft Intune to Executive Branch agencies, boards, and commissions (EBA’s).
The project significantly transformed the state's enterprise environment by enhancing security, transparency, and operational efficiency.
Prior to the project, mobile device management had no unified approach, resulting in limited visibility, varied security postures, and increased vulnerabilities.
Post-implementation, we achieved a secure, standardized state for mobile device management, ensuring safety and ease of management across all EBA’s and were able to maintain a balance between security requirements and usability.

Build Strong Passphrases for a Secure Oregon
Safeguard Oregon’s systems with a powerful passphrase!
Create one at least 15 characters long, using uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and a special character (e.g., @, #, $). Steer clear of dictionary words, common names, or your login ID—try something unique like “WallowaInOregon#1887”.
Refresh the passphrase every 60 days and avoid reusing passwords for 24 generations (6 months on some systems). Choose a passphrase that’s easy to recall but tough to crack for maximum security.
Learn more with optional training, “Join the Craze of the Passphrase,” at https://training.knowbe4.com/.
For additional details on password requirements, see the Statewide Information Technology (IT) Control Standards. Keep Oregon secure, team!
