State CIO and Deputy State CIO Named for National Leadership Awards
State Chief Information Officer, Terrence Woods, was awarded the StateScoop GoldenGov: State Executive of the Year Award.
Deputy State Chief Information Officer, Jennifer Bjerke, was awarded StateScoop State Leadership of the Year Award.

EIS Staff Honored at Governor’s Reception
Three EIS staff were nominated as Public Service Ambassadors, exemplifying operational excellence.
Public Service Ambassadors were invited to attend a reception with Governor Kotek.
EIS Ambassadors are Deanna Dyer - Strategic Planning Analyst, Jordan Hackworth - Senior Systems Engineer, and Laura Medcalf - Senior IT Portfolio Manager.

StateRAMP
StateRAMP adopts policies and procedures that standardize security requirements for providers and then verifies cloud offerings utilized by government satisfy adopted security requirements through independent audits and continuous monitoring. EIS is working to adopt StateRAMP. Recordings of trainings held earlier this month are available online.

State CIO opens Oregon Digital Government Summit
Over 300 technology professionals from 90 governmental organizations in Oregon came together in Salem, May 7, 2024 for the 14th annual Oregon Digital Government Summit. State Chief Information Office, Terrence Woods, opened the event, challenging attendees to connect with each other.
Save the date for the Oregon Public Sector Cybersecurity Summit, where government technology professionals can learn about the latest efforts to defend, respond and recover from cyber criminals who wish to do harm. September 25, 2024.
