Ben Gherezgiher Elected Vice-Chair of Oregon Cybersecurity Advisory Council
Ben Gherezgiher, State Chief Information Security Officer, was elected Vice-Chair of the Oregon Cybersecurity Advisory Council.
He will each serve one year as Vice Chair and will succeed to the Chair in the following year.
The Oregon Cybersecurity Advisory Council, established within the Oregon Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, was authorized by House Bill 2049 (2023).
The Oregon Cybersecurity Center of Excellence is established at Portland State University and operates under the joint direction and control of Portland State University, Oregon State University, and the University of Oregon.

Top Cyber Actions for Securing Water Systems
Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency, Environmental Protection Agency, and Federal Bureau of Investigation co-sealed a joint fact sheet outlining cyber actions, with resources and tools that Water and Wastewater Systems Sector entities can take to reduce risk and improve resilience to malicious cyber activity.
